Basic FD Chaplain Training (16 hours) – FFC Essentials of Fire Chaplaincy

Chaplaincy Foundations and Person-hood, Ministry to Firefighters, Ministry to people in Crisis, FD Funerals, Fire Department Chaplain Operations, Helping Firefighters Manage Stress, and others.
This course serves as the foundation for credit with the FFC Fire Chaplains.

Advanced Chaplain Training

Advanced FD Chaplain Training (16 hours)

October 3rd – Registration 8:00 am, Class 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Defusing & Debriefing Critical Incidents, Compassion Fatigue & Self Care: As a chaplain, you will undoubtedly be involved with a critical incident. During this class we will be discussing the role that you may be taking with helping firefighters deal with the aftermath of the incident. We will discuss some of the things to do, and not to do in order to be effective. The discussions will center on your role at the scene, and afterwards at the fire house. We will talk about defusing’s and debriefings and the differences. We will discuss self-care, what is it, and how do we do it?
October 4th – 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
The Chaplain’s role in Strengthening Firefighter’s Marriages: Learn proven techniques to assist Fire Fighter marriages to succeed and enjoy great communication and relationships that respect and value marriages and families.
Debt Elimination and Personal Finance Management for Firefighter Families: A 3 ½ hour seminar and workshop teaches a battle tested strategy, using the money you already earn to eliminate all debt and establish financial freedom. Credit card debt, auto loans, and personal loans are gone within 2 to 3 years. Mortgages gone within 5 to 8 years.

Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend the conference, a full refund will be available up to seven (7) days before the event. After that date, no refund will be made. Registration is transferable however.
If we do not have a minimum of ten people enrolled per class by seven (7) days before the event, the class or classes will be cancelled and a full refund will be returned to the enrollees.
